Iwisa maize meal 1kg (Mielie pap!)
Cooking instructions:
(4-6 Servings)
1 Litre water (4 cups)
5 ml salt (1 teaspoon)
500 ml Iwisa Super Maize Meal (2 cups) (330g)
Bring water and salt to the boil in a large heavy-based saucepan.
Add maize meal. Stir thoroughly with two pronged fork and cover with lid. Reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes and stir occasionally.
Add another 125 ml (1/2 cup) cold water to porridge.
Simmer over low heat for another 30 minutes.
